I made a Thankful Pumpkins card because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and as a Breast Cancer survivor, I’d like to give a shout out to all the people that cancer has affected…survivors, fighters, family and those that have passed. And…in that vain, In October, I wear pink…let’s be honest…pink is my favorite, and it’s not due to breast cancer at all!

I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle and made this card with PINK PUMPKINS!! There are no rules…you can do whatever you’d like, so…I made pink pumpkins!

I used about half of the blends in my arsenal to do this! So many beautiful colors of PINK!

Here’s an up close picture of the pumpkins…just play with the blends…use all the combinations! I added Wink of Stella on them also, just on the lines.

I am always looking for different ways to use ribbon, and I like to fray it out. This is the Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon…I pulled the end, and this is what happened! So easy and fun! The die cut is from the Ornate Frames Dies.

The background paper is the Expression in Ink Designer Series Paper…it makes a fun background!

I added a little pumpkin on the inside of the card, a blank inside is no fun!

I have just the friend that I am going to give this Thankful Pumpkins card to! She is going through the fight now and I love her dearly!
