I used the cat from the Clever Cats Stamp set for the focal point of this card…He’s So darn Cute!!! He’s stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White and die cut out with the Layering Circles Dies. He is sitting on a “wall” that is stamped in Crumb Cake ink with the “wood looking” stamp from Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set. I also added a little spider and web from the Clever Cats Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo.

TIP

Use Stamparatous when stamping the cat image. He is a solid image, and the linen Memento pad doesn’t always give good coverage. Using the Stamparatous gives you a chance to stamp more than once to make the image as dark as you’d like.

You might have noticed the background paper! It’s Stampin’ UP!s Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper…But….I COLORED IT with Stampin’ Blends! Now…if you don’t like to color, this might not be for you…but I enjoyed it!

Let’s put the card together. Basic Black card base, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4, Flirty Flamingo Layer 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, DSP 5 1/4 x 4 and Basic White inside 5 1/4 x 4. Layer a Flirty Flamingo scalloped circle under the cat circle and pop it up with dimensionals. Add some Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins…and Voila! You have a PURR-fect Halloween Card!
