I don’t do scary. But, I do like cute Halloween and what’s better than Scary Cute?? I used the Scary Cute Bundle to make my card.
Supplies Needed for Halloween Blog Post card (linked at bottom of post)
- Scary Cute Bundle
- Basic Black Cardstock
- Basic White Cardstock
- Washi Tape
- White Glimmer Paper
- Perfectly Penciled DSP
- Blending Brush
- Night of Navy Ink
- Stamparatus
- Memento Black Ink
- Embellishments
Start with a piece of Basic White Cardstock 4 x 2 3/4. Use Blending Brush to add Night of Navy ink to make it look “nighttime”. Then, using the stamparatus, stamp the desired images with Memento black ink. I used the trick-or-treaters and sentiment. Stamp the images many times to get the images dark.
Also use Blending Brush and Night of Navy ink to add color to the Perfectly Penciled DSP measuring 4 x 5 1/4.
Die Cut out the bats (using washi tape added to a piece of black cardstock) and the moon (using white glimmer paper), then add these to the front.
Stamp the images on the other piece of cardstock for the middle of the card.
Layer all the pieces together and add embellishments of your choice, and Voila…a Scary Cute Halloween card. If you need more instructions you can watch the video here.
